A toddler had been sodomized and killed by his uncle in Kediri

A 2-year-old toddler died of head injuries after slammed into the floor by his uncle, Sentot Yuniarto, 30-year-old, who allegedly tried to sodomize him for the second time in Kediri, East Java. The young boy, known only by his initials AM, was the third child of Adi Triwahono and Ita, residents Burengan, Pesantren, Kediri.

Kediri police chief, Adj. Kombes. Wibowo, said the suspect has admitted his crimes. To investigators, Sentot said that he had been sodomized AM in May and tried to repeat the action on Monday. Upset with the struggle of the victim, Sentot slammed AM to the floor twice. "The victim died of severe head injuries," said Wibowo.

The police have further investigate the case to uncover the possibility that Sentot may have preyed on other boys. Besides AM, the suspect reportedly often take AM's older brothers, aged 6 and 4 years old to play with him while he worked as an electronics store attendant.

According to the law on child protection, Sentot may face a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
