Policeman Arrested For Robbing Discotheque Visitors

A police officer has been arrested for allegedly robbing several people in the entertainment places in Taman Sari, West Jakarta. The Jakarta police spokesman, Sr.Comr.Awi Setiyono said on Wednesday.

"The suspect MA arrested for frequently robbing the discotheque visitors in Taman Sari," said Awi.

Adj.Sr.MA was arrested while using the drug in a hotel room with another man identified as BK and a woman, CL, which has been the victim of a robbery.

Police investigating the case after the victim reported that he had lost his motorcycle when a man who claimed to be police officer stopped him and accused him of being a drug dealer and then they seized belongings of the victim.

At the time of the arrest, police also seized evidence including 0,58 grams of crystal meth, equipment for using drugs, airsoft gun and a knife.

MA is being interrogated by the police at the Taman Sari police station.
